Tortuga Island Cruise

Pamper yourself aboard the Sea Venture Cruise on our journey to Isla Tortuga. Enjoy your favorite cocktail and listen to a tropical band as we navigate the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, touring the Nicoya Gulf. Once at the island, you may swim or snorkel in crystal-clear waters, play, walk or explore the pearl-white sandy beach. Upon returning to the ship, a freshwater shower awaits you, prior to feasting on an exquisite buffet lunch. We will return to San Jose during the late afternoon.

Carara National Park

Taking the old Spanish route of 1606 to the Pacific ocean, we will arrive to the park. Carara covers a low mountainous area of 4700 ha. in a climactic zone of transition, from the dry North to the very humid coast of the South Pacific. Some of the easily seen birds are macaws, parrots, parakeets, iguanas, toucans, trogons, etc. Among the mammals: monkeys, agoutis, coatis, sloths, peccaries, tayras and jaguarondis are active during the daytime.

Butterfly Botanical Gardens

This is the first butterfly garden in Manuel Antonio where you will find more than 20 species inside a unique 1000sq feet atrium. All this surrounded by secondary - primary forest and indigenous flora and fauna.

Canopy Tour from Manuel Antonio
Dificulty:   

This is an exhilarating way to spend a half or full day. Both trips offer the excitement of exploring the tropical canopy through a series of suspension platforms which are situated high above the forest floor. These platforms are connected be steel cables that have been specially designed for people to slide across, allowing you to discover the flora and fauna of the tropical forest first hand. You will have a chance to see a variety of animals on both trips, including howler and white faced monkey\'s, sloth\'s and toucans.

Damas Island Estuaty

Paddle protected inland waterways, a perfect place to learn this magical way of exploring coastal mangrove areas and seeing wildlife. None of this trip is in the open ocean and the pace of this trip is according to your abilities. Lunch is at a great seafood restaurant.

This one is designed for adventurous people you will drive through lush tropical rainforest, beautiful rivers and wildlife, all on your own Four trax. We will stop en-route at a fantastic waterfall where you may take a swim or just enjoy nature.

Kayak de mar con remos En Manuel Antonio
Dificulty:   

A more challenging open ocean paddle along one of Costa Rica's most beautiful coastlines. Nearby islands are nesting sites for boobies and frigate birds. We stop for a swim and snacks in isolated Biesanz Bay and we lunch at the end of the trip, near the National Park of Manuel Antonio
Manuel Antonio National Park

Have a experienced nature guide take you on an informative hike through the park. Our guides know where you are most likely to encounter sloths, monkeys etc. They will also provide a great deal of information on the history, flora and fauna during this easy 3 hours walk. Mid-tour snacks and refreshments are offered and guest may remain in the park after the tour.
Naranjo River Rafting
Dificulty:   

A class III & IV half day challenge for more experienced paddlers. The Naranjo drops steeply from the mountains above Quepos, though a beautiful jungle gorge and takes you on a wild ride to sea level passing nearby farmlands and palm plantations. Water levels can rise quickly on this river upping the difficulty and adrenaline levels, so rafters should be physically fit and adventurous.
Nauyaca Waterfalls Tours

Come with us to see the most beautiful waterfalls in the country! Cascading 25-40 meters into an 8 meters deep pool which is excellent for swimming, the horse back tour offers you more contact with nature and a better chance of seeing wild life.
Rancho Casa Grande Walking Tour

It is an excellent way to explore the plants and animals in the mountainous jungle, near Manuel Antonio National Park, this walk takes you on partly shaded trails, allowing you to explore and discover.
Saavegre River Rafting

This full day adventure includes an incredible 4 wheel drive journey which takes you in to a very remote back country of the Rio Savegre for a 4 hour guided. Rafting trip with class II / III / IV rapids in rafts for 6 people or in 2 man inflatable kayaks. There are great swimming holes and a large variety o birds and primary jungle (egrets, toucans, osprey, parrots, kingfishers and cormorants). We will stop in a little village called "Rio Blanco" for a "Tico Style" lunch, with a great views and a nature path. We also stop an some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the area with many blooming heliconias in this shady garden of Eden.

In the enchantingly beautiful Island of Tortuga, we can walk in the impeccable white sand, swim in the turquoise waters and investigate the marine life, while the crew prepares a sumptuous feast, that we will enjoy in the dining in the shade of white umbrellas with tables covered in white linen.
